About IFYE
Vice-President - Russell Mauch
Upon graduating from North Dakota State University with a major in agriculture, Russell Mauch was an IFYE to Hungary in 1978. Following this European exchange, Russ went into banking with the First Bank System for two years. In 1981, Russ and his new wife Mary decided to start farming. The Mauch's have three daughters: Tina, Tori, and Skye.
In 1998, Mauch became very involved with the sugar industry and was elected to the Minn-Dak Farmers Cooperative Board. He became active with the American Sugarbeet Growers Association becoming President in 2010. Russ is now currently farming near Barney, North Dakota.
