Pre-Conference Service Project (June 30, 2022 1:30-4 PM) Volunteering

MIDWEST FOOD BANK (MFB)
IFYEs are civic-minded. Because of our varied experiences, we know how fortunate we are to live in the United States. Yet, many in the United States go to bed hungry. Thursday afternoon (June 30 from 2 - 4 PM), we will go to the Midwest Food Bank for two hours of community service sorting or bagging food or whatever is necessary.

MFB serves 500 agencies in 50 counties in Central and Eastern Illinois with seven warehouses in the Midwest, South, and West regions of the US to provide disaster relief. Midwest Food Bank is also partnering with Convoy of Hope to provide meals packaged by the local non-profit Tender Mercies to the people of Ukraine.
