CONFERENCE SERVICE PROJECT

As a conference service and outreach project, the Missouri conference committee is requesting donations of mittens, hats, and other cold weather attire. The collection will be delivered to Elevate Branson , a local mission serving the sheltered homeless, by one of the Friday tour groups. Elevate works with its neighbors who need spiritual relationship and physical support.

The Elevate Rewards Program provides a means for our neighbors to meet their needs while maintaining their sense of self-worth and dignity. Each hour our neighbors spend volunteering on the Elevate Branson campus earns them rewards points to purchase food, items in our thrift store, ID’s, or transportation to local agencies. With the colder weather upon us at the time of our conference, Elevate would encourage donations of warm hats and gloves so that they could make those available to their neighbors (of all ages) participating in the rewards program.

NOTE: If donating items for our conference project, please drop articles off at the same time and place as for the live and silent auctions - at registration. Thank you.

Also, those in Branson by early Thursday morning (and wishing to volunteer at Elevate Branson), can assist in preparing sack meals that will be delivered that evening to the extended-stay motel residents. Plan to be at Elevate Branson headquarters (310 Gretna Rd, Branson) at 8:45 AM Thursday.
