South Dakota to Tanzania (Fall)
Current Status/Future Goals:
- Seeking a degree in International Relations.
- Seeking a career working with different governments to find sustainable agricultural practices and help find solutions to major industry problems.
- Striving to “ignite a passion for agriculture in those around me.”
Previous International Experience(s):
- Scotland (four months) on a university student exchange program.
- British Isles as part of the Student Ambassador Program spending four nights with a host family in Dublin, Ireland.
Ag-Related Experience(s):
- Worked on family farm.
- 4-H member and officer for more than a decade.
- FFA member.
- South Dakota State FFA Secretary and American FFA Degree.
Other Experience(s):
- Girls State Senate.
- Majority Whip for the American Legion Auxiliary.
- Page for the South Dakota Legislature.
Interests:
- Art
- Reading
- Western dancing
- Hiking, watching sunrises and sunsets
