June - August 2026

Due Date for Application Deposit and $150 down payment – March 1, 2026

Final Payment of $3,850 Due – May 1, 2026 (total cost to participant is $4000)

Orientation Dates – June 11 – June 16

• Travel to Washington D.C. – Outbound IFYEs – Wednesday, June 3
• Trip to The Hill – Outbounds visit their US Representatives and Senators – Thursday, June 4
• Travel Date to Washington, D.C. – Inbounds – Thursday, June 4
• Orientation – Inbound and Outbound IFYEs – Evening of Thursday, June 4
• Orientation – Inbound and Outbound IFYEs – Friday, June 5, Saturday, June 6 (Monument hopping/”scavenger hunting”), Sunday – June 7 
• Travel to Host States and Countries – Monday, June 8

Debriefing – August 18-20 – Outbounds Only

• Travel from Host Countries to Washington DC – August 12
• Debriefing – August 13
• Return Home – August 14
