TOUR DESCRIPTIONS (Friday, September 11, 2020)

TOUR REGISTRATION CUTOFF is Midnight Eastern Time AUGUST 31, 2020.

ALL of the following tours will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020 from approximately 9 AM to 4 or 5 PM.

#01 - COLLEGE OF THE OZARKS  $65 (Lunch included)

You begin by joining the College and School of the Ozarks students and community as they gather at the 9-11 campus memorial to remember the Twin Tower attacks.  On to the Keeter Center for an 11:30 farm-to-table luncheon. 

Tour the center and shop for student-made articles before you head out for a 1 PM student-led campus bus tour.  Enjoy stops at the fruitcake and jelly kitchen, campus chapel and a stone-ground working flour mill.  See Hard Work U students creating cut-glass items and weaving. 

Some may wish to visits the Gaetz Tractor Museum and then be delivered to the Ralph Foster Museum while tour-mates will be delivered to see the Beverly Hillbillies car, some of the area's Kewpie Dolls and other collections including guns and mounted birds and animals.  A short ride gets you back to the Radisson.

#02 - TOP OF THE ROCK  $75 plus lunch on your own at Arnie's Barn

Top of the Rock is a golfing venue which is part of Bass Pro Shops located about 15 miles south of Branson.  Begin your golf cart tour following a paved 2 1/2 mile Ozarks scenic route among rock formations, waterfalls, covered bridges and nature's flora.  Take your time to enjoy your surroundings.  Drivers will be needed for the electric carts

You move on to Arnie's Barn.  Enjoy this scenic area with views of Table Rock Lake.  Take a leisurely lunch break before descending into a first-class natural history museum highlighting the area's prehistoric era, extensive Native American collections (perhaps the nation's best) and end among the area's Civil War history.  Museum should take 1 1/2 to 2 hours.  Then back to the hotel to prepare for the evening activities.

#03 -  LET BRANSON ENTERTAIN YOU $85 (Lunch included)

Begin the day with a 10 AM Branson live show.  Choose between
  1. "Dublin's Irish Tenors and Celtic Ladies" or
  2. "Hot Rods and High Heels" - a high-energy show featuring 1950's pop music.

At noon, your bus will transport you to McFarlain's Restaurant for a served luncheon with your choice between 3 entrées plus beverage and dessert.  Then it's on to your last stop of the day - Shepherd of the Hills.  You will tour Old Matt's cabin, the church, the natural amphitheater, and Inspiration Tower with outstanding aerial views of the Ozark area (no time for the zip lines!).  Return to the Radisson.

#04 - THE OZARKS $84 (Lunch included)

Your bus will begin your tour by delivering you to the Branson I-Max complex where you will see the Ozarks: Legacy and Legend film.  Your next stop will be at the Branson Landing. 

Your selected lunch will be served alongside Lake Taneycomo prior to your departure aboard the Lake Queen replica paddleboat.  Please make your luncheon choice on your registration form. Thank you.

Your narrated 1 1/2 hour tour will familiarize you with the area's history and water development.  Be watching for deer, bald eagles, and other wildlife.  Before docking, your boat will halt before Branson Landing's fire and water musical fountain display. 

Your final stop will be at Elevate Branson (formerly Jesus Was Homeless) to deliver our conference service project collection.  Here you will tour the group's modern facility and learn of their many projects to address area poverty and unemployment. 

Time to return to your rooms to prepare for the evening.
